DropShop BD launches a resale operating system for Bangladeshi sellers
DropShop BD today opened its merchant platform to sellers across Bangladesh. The product lets anyone source goods from global suppliers, price them in taka, publish a branded storefront on 1shop.bd and fulfil cash-on-delivery orders through Pathao — without writing code, holding inventory or paying a setup fee.
Bangladeshi social-commerce sellers have historically run their businesses across Facebook pages, spreadsheets and manual courier bookings. DropShop BD collapses that into one dashboard: product sourcing from CJ Dropshipping, automatic BDT pricing with a configurable margin, realtime stock and order sync, and a consumer storefront that carries the seller's own brand name rather than the platform's.
"A seller in Bangladesh should not need a developer, a warehouse or a foreign card to run a real online store. They need taka pricing, cash on delivery, a courier that actually shows up, and a storefront customers trust. That is the whole product."
The platform is free to start with a 50-product limit, with paid tiers at ৳1,500 and ৳4,500 per month settled by bKash, Nagad or bank transfer — no international card required. Storefronts are served at 1shop.bd/{brand} and support COD, bKash and Nagad at checkout.
DropShop BD also exposes an agent (MCP) interface, letting sellers connect AI assistants to their catalogue, orders and sales summaries with signed webhooks for near-realtime updates.
